SpaceX had planned to launch at 9:56 a.m., but thunderstorms in the region delayed the launch until they found a break in the weather. This group of Starlinks was put into an inclined orbit that points southeast at an inclination of 43 degrees. With the successful completion of the Starlink 5–12 mission, the total number of Starlink satellites in orbit has increased to 4,698.
